Bangkok studio · Cohort 31 opening

Count the money your freemium app actually keeps.

Apieventstack is a small school for product, growth, and finance partners who ship trials, paywalls, and in-app purchases. We teach the event layer under revenue — not another dashboard tour.

Signal Pipeline Fundamentals

Six weeks on event contracts: trial clocks, restore purchases, refunds, tax, and the difference between a “purchase” click and a receipt finance will file. You leave with a written taxonomy and a dashboard spec your PM and controller can both read.

What people actually changed after class

“We stopped summing the purchase event and started summing net receipts. ARPPU dropped 11% on paper and the board finally stopped asking why cash lagged the dashboard.”

Siriwan Prasert, senior PM, fitness subscription app · Flagship cohort 24

“The paywall timing module made us delay the hard wall by 36 hours. Conversion rose, but only after we fixed restore-purchase identity — without that, the test was noise.”

Marek, Chiang Mai · Paywall Timing Lab
★★★★☆

“Dense. I wanted more ad-mediation material than they offer. Still the only course that made our refund event match App Store Connect.”

What we actually teach

Three habits that keep freemium numbers honest

Name the clock

Install, first open, trial start, and first paid receipt are different clocks. Mixing them inflates LTV and hides where users stall. Every Apieventstack exercise begins by writing the clock in plain language.

Separate intent from cash

A tap on “Continue” is not revenue. We map client events to store receipts, refunds, grace periods, and tax so product and finance stop arguing over screenshots.

Publish a contract

Dashboards rot when definitions live in someone’s head. Students leave with a one-page event contract: owner, grain, allowed filters, and what the number is not allowed to mean.

Shorter labs around the flagship

Each lab assumes you already ship a freemium or hybrid app. None of them are generic “intro to analytics.”
